On August 31,1950 God sent Alester Oliver to earth under the parentage of Lester and Myrtle Oliver in Lubbock, Texas. Afterwards the family soon moved to Dallas, TX Alester graduated from L.G Pinkston High School in 1968 where he immediately joined the armed forces as a “proud Marine”. Upon completion of service to his country, he settled in great state of California where he gave his life to the Lord and united with David Wilkerson who modeled before him evangelism and the compassion of Christ.

In 1975, Alester relocated back to the Dallas area where he reunited with the Lighthouse COGIC. During his tenure with Lighthouse, Alester served as an usher and participated in street evangelism as a member of the life change gang (LCG). But his life was fulfilled when he took his wife, Daisy Ann Jefferson for the rest of his life. They married on December 11,1976. He was a loving and devoted father to his children. He understood that the children learned more from what you do, than what you say and he was a living example. He worked untiringly and wanted the best for his family. God was the first, family second, and then others! He later served as a member of the Faith Memorial Church, as Associate Minister for a number of years prior to pastoring the Canaan land COGIC for 7 years.
