DEBRA ANN BURELSON~ A service Celebrating the life of Debra Burleson will be held on Thursday, May 5. 2016 @  11:00 am ~New Hope Baptist Church~1504 Newsome~ Mesquite, Tx~ Rev. Reginald Jefferson, Pastor~ Eulogist ~ Interment:  Mesquite Cemetery.  Visitation on Wednesday from 12-7 pm ~ Wake: 7-8 at the Funeral Home.

Debra Ann Burleson, 59 of Dallas, Texas was born on January 20,1957 in the Dallas, Texas to the parents of Jimmy D. Burleson and Nora Lee Robinson.  She was the loving mother of Kandice L. Burleson and LaRon Brown.  She received her “Wings” on April 26, 2016  at her home in Mesquite, Texas after a long battle with breast cancer.

She accepted Christ early in life and was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Reginald Jefferson. She enjoyed bible study,  Sunday Worship Services and  all activities at her church. 

 She was a “1977” graduate of  Seagoville High School.  She was employed with Mesquite Independent School District until her health begin to fail. Her favorite hobbies were watching the Big Valley and hanging out with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her great-grandmother; Gertrude Smith, Brother; Lonze Earl Burleson, Terry Lynn Buckner, Step-Father, Billy Buckner.

Her percious memories will be cherish by her devoted daughters, Kandice Burleson, LaRon Brown (Nathan), Mother, Nora Lee Robinson, Father, Jimmy D. Burleson, Grandchildren; Kaliya & Khloe Brown, Brothers; Billy Ray Buckner, Gary Buckner, Sisters; Gwendolyn Gray, Sherri Buckner, Aunts, Judy Jones, Marcell Ibrahim, Uncle; David Joe Blair and many other loving relatives and friends.
