Triump Missionary Baptist Church; Babreck, La. Viewing will be held  (1) hour prior to the funeral services. Interment: Mt. Triump Cemetery; Babreck, La.

Aaron McCrea, Sr. entered into eternal peace on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Trinity Mission Health and Rehab of Burleson in Burleson, Texas.  Aaron was born June 7, 1968 in Rapides Parish, Louisiana to the late Richard Lee McCrea Sr. and Irene Randall McCrea.  Aaron accepted Christ and was baptized by the late Rev. P. Parker at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church in Barbreck, Louisiana.

Aaron was a native of Louisiana.  He reside in Ft. Worth, Texas until his departure from this life.  Aaron married Mary Claire Melancon on March 11, 1988.  To this union four children was born.  He leaves to mourn; Albert Micheal and Ike Jamal of  California;  Aaron, Jr. of Carencro, Louisiana and April Monique of Fort Worth, Texas.  He also leaves to mourn a daughter, Renae Leonard, of Pierre Part, Louisiana ,  five grandchildren; Lyric Melody Melancon, Nina Claire Melancon, Ike Jomar Melancon,  Malachi Shiera McCrea, and Marlii Jolie McCrea.

Aaron loved meeting people, driving trucks, cooking for friends, riding his motorcycle, telling other about his children and talking about his faith in God.  Aaron enjoyed the simple things in life and considered himself a “Country boy” making sure everyone he met knew of his Louisiana roots. Aaron never forgot his home and his family.  Even in his last days, he made new friends.  Aaron’s friends remember him as a man who “Loved the Lord’

Aaron leaves to mourn (1) brother, Richard(Patricia)McCrea Jr., of Bunkie, Louisiana, (4) sisters; Shirley (Donald) Polk, Jeanette(Joel)Willis both of Forth, Texas, Regina(Sean Sr.) Daigre, Fayetteville, Georgia and Karen Ann McCrea of Kansas City, Missouri who faithfully stood by him through his life and final days.  He also leaves to mourn his maternal grandfather, George Randall Sr., and a host of aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews other relatives  and friends. 

Aaron was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Randall McCrea, father; Richard Lee McCrea Sr.,  brother; Michael Glenn McCrea, his kinship parents; Uncle Jimmy “Papa”, Aunt Alverda, “Big Mama” and his grandparents, Clifton and Inez McCrea and Rosemary Golden Randall.
