Curtis Lee McWilliams was born November 19,1950 in Dallas,Texas to the union of Finas and Ozetta Gooden McWilliams. He accepted Christ as his savior early in life. He departed this life on February 3,2016 in Odessa, Texas.

Curtis formal education was received from Dallas school district and was graduated with the class of 69′ from Lincoln high school in dallla,Texas. He excelled in many activities at Lincoln such as track and football.

Curtis was united in marriage to Barbara Johnson and to this union they were blessed with a loving family. After relocating to Odessa, Texas he worked for Jones Bros. Dirt & Paving contractors for over ten years.

Curtis was a huge Dallas cowboys and Dallas mavericks fan. In his younger days he played basketball regularly. He enjoyed watching blue bloods, the blacklist, ncis, law and order and many other TV dramas. He loved being a grandfather. Despite living in Odessa, Texas he made sure to come back and visit during the Texas fair and other major holidays.

He is preceded in death by his father, Finas McWilliams, mother Ozetta Gooden McWilliams, sister, Bobbie Jean Harper and brother, Vernon McWilliams.

Those left to cherish his precious memories; three children; one son ,Kevin Edwards (Patrice) and children two daughters, Shayla McWilliams and Brandi McWilliams; grandchildren, Fredrick McWilliams, James Atkins, Cameron McWilliams, Kennedy Edwards, and Aaliyah McWilliams; mother of his daughters, Barbara Johnson, all of Dallas, Texas; special friend and extended family Peggy Curry, Odessa, Texas, and many other loving family and friends.
