Wake will be Friday, March 4, 2016, 7:00-8:00pm at Lomax Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment: New Bethel Cemetery, Laneville, TX.

Berdie Louise Coleman Hearn was born to the parentage of Mr. Taylor Coleman and Mrs. Jennie Freeney on March 09, 1940 in Laneville, Texas. She’s the baby of eight siblings. She attended public school in Laneville,TX and graduated from Allen High School.

Berdie was introduced to the Lord Jesus Christ and accepted him as her Savior at an early age. she served as a member of the Anadarko Christian Church under the leadership of Pastor Zack Walker, singing in the choir was her first love. She was a great supporter of her church. She worked at Texas Instrument for many years but her most joyfulness job  was a stay at home housewife and mother.

Berdie Louise Hearn is preceded in her death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Taylor and Jeannie Coleman, her brothers; Willie Coleman, Bobby Joe Coleman and, Gus Lithecome; sisters; Thelma white and Lilly Mae Polk.

In 1961 Berdie moved to Dallas Texas and it is where she met and later married her beloved confidant (husband) Lafayette Hearn, into this union two children were born Pamela Lynn Hearn and Lafayette Hearn Jr.

Berdie enjoyed her life and loved her family and friends, God smiled on her showing his love and favor by lending her the love and support of family.

Those who remain to cherish her memories include her beloved spouse, Lafayette Hearn Sr., daughter, Pamela(Pam) Hearn, (Irving,TX) and son, Lafayette(chuckie) Hearn Jr.,  three grandchildren; Collette Maria Hearn, Shante M. Graham and Lafayette Hearn III and one great grandchild, Bryanna Marie Fitzgerald; her sisters Rosie Mae Benson of Dallas, Texas,  Annie Love Forman of Dallas, Texas,and a host of nieces,nephews,cousins, friends and church family.
