Wintergreen Road ~ Desoto, Texas 75115 ~Dr. Michael D. Sneed, Pastor, Officiating. Wake~ 7:00-8:00 pm on Friday, both services will be held at the church. Interment: Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.
Nelda Kaye Kirby was the youngest daughter of ten children born to the parentage of Johnnie and Ezetter Kirby on March 6, 1959.
She graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas, Texas. She gained her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from El Centro College. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Lone Star Baptist Church where she was a dedicated member of the Kelley Inspirational Choir. It was in the choir that she shined as an excellent lead singer. She later moved her membership to Loving Fellowship Baptist Church in 2003 under the leadership of Dr. Michael D. Sneed. She remained a faithful member serving on the Kings Table Ministry until her heath declined.
Preceded her in death, her parents, Johnnie and Ezetter Kirby, (2) brother, Marion Vance Kirby & Connie Lee Kirby.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her children, son, Aaron Kirby (Angie) and daughter, Apryl Kirby; grandchildren, Aryonna Kirby, Maynard III, (Lil Tony), and Aryussa Kirby, Sister; Sandra Hodge and Barbara Smith, Brothers; Waymon, Kirby (Bernice), Clyde Kirby, Jerry Kirby (Patricia), Gary Kirby (Juanita), Derce Kirby (Kysha), Sister-in-law (Louise Kirby), (2) Aunts, Ella Mae Caldwell and Jerline Hughey, great aunt, Eddie Lee Johnson, and special friends, Brenda Allen, and Denise Young, a host of nieces nephews other relatives and friends.
